Thinking about coming to a Zumba® class but not sure if it's for you? We hear that a lot. The good news: Zumba® is designed from the ground up for everyone — including people who've never danced a day in their life.

It's not a dance class. It's a dance fitness class.

That might sound like a small difference, but it changes everything.

In a dance class, technique matters. Getting it right matters. In a Zumba® class? The only thing that matters is that you move your body and have a good time doing it.

At Spark Dance Fitness, nobody is watching your footwork. Nobody is correcting your timing. Nobody is expecting perfection. Our classes are a 100% judgement-free zone — beginners are welcomed, celebrated, and very much part of what makes the room feel great.

Every Zumba® class is built around four core Latin rhythms: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaeton. And here's the thing — each rhythm comes with its own signature steps. So when the music changes, the movement changes with it.

That might sound like a lot to take in. But once you've seen the steps a few times outside of class — at your own pace, without anyone watching — they start to feel a lot more familiar. And familiarity is everything when you're new.

Watch it as many times as you like, pause, rewind, practise in your living room. Come to class having already seen the moves, not seeing them for the first time.
